I started out doing only smoking and academic improvement, and stuck with those for a while before branching out. I got my first certification in August 2003, after about a year of study, plus a trip to British Columbia for good measure. I’m certified* by the American Board of Hypnotherapy and by the International Hypnosis Federation.

As I built up the business, I realized how much more people needed hypnosis than I had thought. Hypnosis had helped me do so much in my own life, shouldn’t I be expanding my expertise? So I started working with chronic pain, allergies, sports improvement, phobias, insomnia - you name it, I’ve probably tried it! Now, most of my business is weight loss - with a little stop smoking thrown in, it makes up about 85%.

(If you’re more than several hours away from Thomasville, it probably wouldn’t be practical to come to me - I’ll be happy to help you find a competent hypnotist closer to you, as I know hypnotists in most states.)

*Most states neither license nor regulate hypnosis, and I don’t take insurance, so that gives me enormous freedom to be as effective as possible without having to worry about handicapping my methods.
